How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?

That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more Honolulu folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.

Which organs are extra?

You don't have any spare parts. Sure, we can survive without our tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and several other tissues, but each serves a purpose. We chiropractors recognize this. So the chiropractic approach I use in Honolulu is to reduce nerve interferences to the control and regulation of every tissue, organ and system of your body.

For years I suffered from lower back pain, headaches and jaw pain and I was only 26!

I was working for a chiropractor in Beverly Hills, California and she said that she could help me with those problems. Within 3-4 weeks after only a 6-7 treatments I was completely better! Not only was I out of pain but I had more energy and flexibility! I also was not as irritable, moody or stressed because I was pain free!

I asked her what she did and she began to teach me about chiropractic philosophy.

She said that "the power that made the body can heal the body!" She showed me a chart of how the body is controlled by the nervous system: the brain and the spinal cord. She said that when there is pressure on the nerves you have dis-ease and chiropractic adjustments corrects that pressure so the body heals by itself.

I was completely fascinated and hooked! I GOT IT! I now had to do what she did and help as many as possible understand that they too can be healthy and be able to live the kind of life that they want!

I started my journey at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles immediately in 1993 and graduated in 1996! I moved to Orange County and had a wonderful time there learning and building my practice for 8 years.

I moved back home here to Honolulu in winter of 2003 and started Holistic Chiropractic here in 2004. I am overjoyed and so grateful to be able to do what I do! It is so wonderful be home in Hawaii and be able to give back to so many families here as well!
